Dataeum recently launched its blockchain collaborative solution, which enables decentralized data collection. The platform allows users to collect and verify data such as physical information about stores, road signs and gas stations, according to a press release.
Companies can use the platform to access key sources of data. Dataeum then rewards the data collectors with tokens.
"People have become very generous with their lives in the digital domain, this demonstrates the level of trust we have developed for the digital world," Joakim Holmer, vice president at Ericsson and founder of allcoinWiki, said in the release. "The company has achieved a situation where it can help maintain that trust but adds a new dimension, an opportunity for people to be at the roots of data generation and its efficiency."
The company plans to hold an ICO presale from May 28 to June 24, followed by a public sale from July 2 to August 5.
