SettleMint to participate in blockchain challenge

Belgian blockchain startup SettleMint has been selected as one of the top 20 startups to participate in the Smart Dubai Office Blockchain Challenge, the company has announced.

The startup and its Dubai-area partner, Ateon, will compete together in a two-day program in Dubai that will include a pitch competition to private and public institutions, investors and experts, according to a press release.

Three startups will be chosen to receive $10,000–$20,000 and will be given the opportunity to implement their platform or service as part of Smart Dubai Office's goal to make Dubai a blockchain-based city by the end of 2020.
