Hong Kong company to leverage blockchain tech

March 7, 2017

Loyyal, a blockchain network for the loyalty and rewards industry, has acquired the Hong Kong-based data brokering company Quidam Ltd. as a client. Quidam will run several pilots on the Loyyal platform to test blockchain tech for its services, according to a press release.

Quidam  initially will focus its efforts on solutions for mass media and global gaming companies. The company plans to create a "common transactional network" to improve customer engagement and profits, the release said. The network itself offers real-time value transfer, security, programmable rewards, liability management and interoperability.

"Loyyal is a global network, or 'Internet of Loyalty,'" CEO and co-founder Greg Simon said in the release. "We are excited to have Quidam as a client and value-added reseller, offering the benefits of our platform to their client base."
