Consensys crafts blockchain training program with Ethereum co-founder

Consensys, a blockchain specialist firm, plans to launch its Academy Developer Program on Aug. 1. This course is designed as a blockchain training program, and will feature a welcome video from Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder of Consensys, according to a press release.

Students will learn about several topics such as Low-level Lisp-like Language for the Ethereum Virtual Machine. It will teach students how to use LLL syntax and how to create a contract in the language.

The program will consist of two phases. Phase 1 will be an online course and Phase 2 will take place in Dubai. Consensys has currently received more than 1,300 applicants from 95 countries, however Consensys will only select a small number of those applicants for the course, based on a test and the applicant's resumes and githubs, according to the release.
