Bitcoin ATMs arrive in San Francisco

Coinsource announced it has deployed a GenesisCoin bitcoin ATM at Mission Groceries in San Francisco. This is the third bitcoin ATM in the city and is the only open for service seven days a week, according to a press release.

The ATM has fees starting at seven percent, with lower rates based on the amount of bitcoins purchased. Mission Groceries is easy to get to by car or public transportation, which makes the bitcoin ATM accessible to many users, according to the release.

"Coinsource is proud to announce our first bitcoin ATM in San Francisco," said Sheffield Clark, managing partner, Coinsource. "In particular, we're delighted to install a low fee bitcoin ATM in the heart of the Mission, easily available to both neighborhood locals and visitors alike.

This new ATM is part of a network of Coinsource ATMs, which are deployed across the U.S., according to the announcement.
